Season two of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” adds Rosemarie DeWitt as C.C. and Aleks Paunovic as Polyphemus, alongside new recurring characters Alison Simms and Chris Rodriguez. Season two of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is expanding its star lineup with Rosemarie DeWitt and Aleks Paunovic in key guest roles. DeWitt will portray C.C., a stylish New Age guru whom Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) meet during their adventure for the Golden Fleece, while Paunovic takes on the role of Polyphemus, the ancient cyclops guarding the coveted treasure.
C.C. comes across as warm and empathetic but has hidden depths, as indicated by her character in “The Sea of Monsters,” the book that inspires this season. Polyphemus, blinded by Odysseus, is a jealous guardian of the Golden Fleece, residing on his isolated island.
Additionally, Beatrice Kitsos and Kevin Chacon are set for recurring roles, with Kitsos playing Alison Simms, a new character who, despite not appearing in the books, is a Camp Half-Blood alum devoted to Luke’s cause. Chacon will portray Chris Rodriguez, aligning himself with Luke as a fellow son of Hermes.
Joining DeWitt and Paunovic are new cast members Daniel Diemer (Tyson), Tamara Smart (Thalia), Andra Day (Athena), and more, alongside Courtney B. Vance portraying Zeus. The show is currently in production, aiming for a 2025 release under the auspices of Disney Branded Television and 20th TV.
